Super Mario Bros. Deluxe, released on the Game Boy Color, was a remake of Super Mario Bros. and Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels. It was released fourteen years after the release of the original Super Mario Bros.. The game received critical acclaim for a number of things – bringing back the original Super Mario Bros. for a whole younger generation to experience, especially to a handheld that allows players to enjoy Super Mario Bros. wherever they go, the inclusion of Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels, as well as the great abundance of unlockables featured in the game. • New Super Mario Bros. Wii (pictured) was released in Europe on November 20, 2009; in the United States on November 15, and in Australia on November 12.
• Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games was released in Japan for the DS on November 19, 2009 and in South Korea for Wii.
• Nintendo and Capcom have announced Mario Party Fushigi no Korokoro Catcher, the third Japan-only Mario Party arcade game.

• A creature resembling a Bone Dragon, called Bonecoaster, appears in Level 8-7 in New Super Mario Bros. Wii
• Nintendo's official magazine Nintendo Power had a tendency to misspell Dixie Kong's name as "Daisy Kong" occasionally.
• In Super Smash Bros. Melee, Marth and Roy were originally intended to be playable only in the Japanese version of the game which is the reason for their unlocalized voice act.
