Welcome to Yoshi Tower!

Welcome to Yoshi Tower! is the bonus level of World 1 in Yoshi's Island DS and, to most, was the first level in which Black Yoshi appeared. The goal is to get to the top of the tower, avoiding obstacles, before the lava catches up to the Black Yoshi. Throughout the level, the constantly rising lava is an added obstacle. Despite the name, Yoshis do not populate the place and actually, enemies of Yoshi populate this place. It is instead full of Shy Guys.In the background, it shows the Shy Guys looking as if they're learning on how to defeat Yoshi.

The Shy Guys seem as though they are doing the following:

• Learning how to use the Stilts
• Talking to each other.
• Climbing ladders (it appears that this is the way they travel around the castle).
• Washing their wet clothes.
• Studying on how Yoshi attacks and who he is.
• Growing Piranha Plants.

All these activities are also performed in Castle of Big Guy the Stilted.
