WarioWare: D.I.Y. Showcase, alternatively called WarioWare: Do It Yourself - Showcase in Europe and known in Japan as Asobu Made in Ore (あそぶメイド イン 俺 Asobu Meido in Ore, lit. "Play Made in Me"), is an addition to the Nintendo DS title WarioWare: D.I.Y., a game of the WarioWare series. It was released on April 29, 2009 in Japan as a downloadable WiiWare game for the price of 800 Wii Points. Released in North America on March 29 2010, and Europe on April 30, 2010. The game allows to use microgames and other content created with WarioWare: D.I.Y. on the Wii, though it can also be played without a copy of WarioWare: D.I.Y.

Like its Nintendo DS counterpart, WarioWare: D.I.Y. Showcase includes a number of premade microgames divided into four different sets. The stages are hosted by WarioWare characters and each set is based around a certain theme, similar to WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$!.

There are three ways to get microgames in Showcase:

  • From DS to Wii
  • From Wii to Wii
  • From Nintendo to Wii

The player has also the option to send microgames to other players. The two ways are:

  • From Wii to DS
  • From Wii to Wii

Game Blender[edit]

Main article: List of microgames in WarioWare: D.I.Y. Showcase

The Game Blender alows the player to blend their microgames together to one Game Stage. Instead of playing one game at a time, the player will play multiple games in random order. The player can create their own D.I.Y. Mix Stages, with their microgames. The player can also play a Stage created by Wario and his buddies. As indicated above, here are four characters that have their own Microgames, thus an own stage as well. Each has a different story. When all the microgames of Wario and his friends have been accounted for, the player can unlock Shuffle Stages with all the microgames of Wario-Man Software.

Wario-Man Software Microgames[edit]

Image Character/Microgame theme name Microgame theme Story

The Extraordinary Wario-Man
Microgames involving Wario himself Wario-Man appears to be flying at a park. However, after noticing a line of men needing help, Wario-Man rushes to assist every possible stall he can reach.
Wwdiysc02.PNG Dribble and Spitz
Dribble & Spitz Rally!
Microgames involving Science Fiction The Diamond Taxi pair Dribble and Spitz seem to participate on a car rally. Between Microgames, their car and other cars are bashing each other out of the way. What determines the car who "defeats" the other driver is based on whether the player had won a Microgame or not.
Wwdiysc03.PNG Kat and Ana
Kat and Ana's Sky Patrol
Microgames involving animals The kindergarten-ninjas seem to jump off a cliff; but then fly above the sky using capes in a style of Cape Mario. Four other birds (represented as the player's four "chances") fly with the two.
Wwdiysc04.PNG 18-Volt
Jet 18Volt
Microgames involving Nintendo products Just like 9-Volt in the DS version, 18-Volt's stage is based on a classic game, where 18-Volt stars in. Fronks appear as enemies, and 9-Volt seems to be a boss, oddly enough.
