It seems that we (the wiki) have a large amount of new users. Don't know if you have the coding, but the new who's online coding, as revealed to me by Steve, is: {{:Special:WhosOnline}}. Question about uploading better images

What's the policy for uploading better images? I have a few but I just want to make sure before I upload. First off, I can't seem to replace an existing uploaded image with a new one, but I can't. I dunno if it's a staff thing, but I don't want to just upload an image and then have to change the link for every user that uses the picture (It's a wiki-mainspace picture but plenty of people are using it in their userpages.

My only other issue is for files where I have a png replacement to a jpg file. Should I upload the png file, replace the links then mark the jpg file for deletion? (This case is different from the first one since, from previous experience, I don't think you can replace a jpg wile with a png file)

Well, I can seem to upload pictures, as I have done so yesterday (Unless you mean one a week, but I doubt that and I'll check later). The problem is that "Upload a new version of this image" doesn't show up for me. I've used it on another wiki before but its absence here baffles me. Maybe I just can't?

And just to clarify, I'm trying to replace with this image. I know what to do for jpg/png replacing now thanks to you, but the linked example is basically replacing a gif with a gif, which I can't seem to do.

Do you know a good microsoft windows xp tech support site cause my xp is screwed over real bad. Mostly graphical problems. Yes, ive reinstalled all applicable drivers, yes ive rebooted several hundred times, no, i havent replaced the graphics card itself i dont know how, the errors started when my bro zoomed too fast in zootycoon3, so now glitchy bars take up the screen so i can barely see what im doing, and yes, a screenshot or ten will be uploaded soon. Hiatus...

I was wondering why you are going on hiatus. In fact, I was looking forward to seeing you on the chatroom more. Summer is the only time when our schedules work. Just life trying to be ironic again. Also, besides being here to release 'Shroom, will you participate in Core Staff discussions and maybe for Awards? You did sign up for a script.

I was wondering if you were kinda depressed...this whole hiatus thing seems abrupt. It doesn't have anything to do with Mexico losing, does it? They'll be back in it in 2014, and they'll probably win the Gold Cup, and they also got invited to Copa America 2012.

I'm gonna take pictures at the A's-Yankees game Monday from my phone and post them here if I can upload them to my comp.

I had planned to join even before I discovered NIWA, but I haven't gotten around to it until now. Mario is my favorite series, so it makes sense for me to be here. I plan to help out however I can.

The file I want to upload is a new version of File:Windy_Mill.jpg, which can be found here. I'm not sure if this clears the better image quality request, so I'll leave that up to you to decide. Super Mario Sunshine question...

Hi, would you mind answering another question I had...see, I have this game guide thing for Super Mario Sunshine (not that I really need one, cuz I've played it so many times, but anyway), and it displays the two secret Shine Sprites for each of the seven main levels as Episode 9 and Episode 10 respectively (Episode 9 being the Shine Sprite that can usually be collected first in the level, etc.) after listing the regular 8 episodes for that level, and gives both levels a presumably self-applied name as well. I just wanted to know if you think it would be appropriate for me to put these into the article for each level or not, cuz I know that game guides are higher up on the list of reliable sources than not...
