Comments

Just a heads up, you cannot remove comments under any circumstances on this wiki, (even your own). The only comments you can delete are flames and acts of vandalism or spam as per the courtesy policy. Spamming is usually filling pages with external links. Vandalism is tarnishing a page with useless information. See here if you want more info. But, yes, that's besides the point. My User Page

As you can tell, the top of my user page is rather messed up. How do I get my words onto a separate line and eliminate those vertical lines both before and after the box? Lava Spire Daredevil Run 13:29, 4 November 2016 (EDT)

Put in {{userboxtop}}, then the box, and end the template with |}. Doing this will create a userbox tower on the left, like you would see on my page. I'm not sure what you mean by getting your words onto separate lines, though, as they already look like they are. 14:18, 4 November 2016 (EDT)

One other thing, be sure to hit the "Show preview" button at the bottom to see the changes to your edit, and then hit "Save page" once you're satisfied. It makes it easier to edit the page you're on and make changes, as well as not filling up the Recent Changes with too many edits from your profile. 14:32, 4 November 2016 (EDT)

Redirects

Actually, it's more advised that you leave the redirects alone since those redirects you're creating are supposed to be complete articles on their own. In other words, episodes should get their own article. Check Good Egg Galaxy level articles for an example (i.e. A Snack of Cosmic Proportions) get their own articles. It's me, Mario! Sorry, didn't realize that. I had just noticed that several of the mission links on the Super Mario Galaxy page redirected to the relevant section of the Galaxy article, so I thought that was all that needed to be done to eliminate the red links in the galaxy table. Problem on the Mario Boards

May I ask why you're making random, needless edits on pages? If you'd like to test or experiment with wiki coding, you can use the sandbox. While you can think of the sandbox as your own personal workspace, it can't be a place for discussions, mainly because no one else can edit it aside from admins. The sandbox is a place for you to work on matters related to the wiki, so this is kinda deviating from that.

Also, name changes can only happen twice within a year, so make sure you choose carefully, as you won't be able to change it again until near the end of 2017. 13:09, 19 December 2016 (EST)

Do not think we're not aware of your edits as an anonymous user. No, no, no, you want the redirect deleted. Click the link above, then on the page, click the link in the (Redirected from...) bit above, then place the {{delete}} there (maybe with a reason like "Sig redirect"). Remove the {{delete-request}} from and update your actual sig. 17:36, 7 May 2017 (EDT)

Images for Super Mario Galaxy missions

I noticed that some of the Super Mario Galaxy mission articles need images. Would it be okay if I took screenshots of those missions with my phone and then uploaded them here?

That would not be recommended (otherwise, I would be doing that myself :P ). An emulator or capture card would be best, as capturing an image with your phone can be blurry and have the wrong resolution. And it just looks unprofessional.

Additionally, I don't know if you noticed the change in policy, but welcoming users purely for the sake of welcoming them is prohibited. This way we don't have thousands of talk pages consisting of just the welcome template. If you're talking to them by any other method (i.e. responding to their message), then you can include the welcome template then.
