One thing I forgot to tell you: I got my monthly gaming magazine - and my name and comments got published twice in a major section! Woot! It was a Reader's Top 50 Games of all time section - My comments for Mario Kart DS and Yoshi's Island were printed - with my full name!

I assume Nintendo Power is the official American Nintendo magazine? Cos we don't have it here. I'm in Australia's best and best-selling multi-format gaming mag, called Hyper. It's one of the funniest mags as well.

Hyper is the oldest gaming mag here, started in 1993, the year I was born.

I've unlocked all characters, I have 35, and I got a Notice about it.

Also on Serebii.net, check out the mathematical formulae for exact damage calculation (you'll need it for the BT), and other stuff!

OK, my awesome BT team which hasn't finished training yet:

1. (lead party member) - Articuno (shiny, also used 493 Master Ball cheat simultaneously) - Nature: Jolly (+ speed, - Attack) - I kept catching with Master Balls to get the perfect nature.

EVs: 252 Speed, 126 Defense, 126 Sp Def, 6 HP.

Moves: Mind Reader (lv 22) Sheer Cold (lv 78) Roost - (something) U-Turn (TM)

Yes, Articuno is the only one to naturally have a lock-on move and a one-hit KO move! In case of opponents with Sturdy ability (mostly Rock or Steel types):

I use U-Turn to switch to Heatran. Speed should make me go first.

2. Heatran

Modest (+ Sp Atk, - Atk)

EVs: 252 Sp Atk, 252 Speed, 6 Attack

Moves: Ancient Power Flash Cannon Explosion Flamethrower/Lava Plume

I can;t choose between Flamethrower (95 Power, 10% burn), or Lava Plume (80 Power, 30% burn) - both 100% accuracy. Explosion is for emergencies, will almost certainly kill foe.

3. Blissey

Nature: Forgot (+ Sp. Def, - Attack)

EVs: 252 HP, 252 Def, 6 Defense

Moves:

Toxic Protect Softboiled Grass Knot

Can't decide about last one, but Grass Knot one-hit KOs Rhyperior. Any ideas for a better move?

well, which is my best? I can't decide, but assuming we did a No Restrictions battle, Arceus is currently my best. It's Level 100, I have it as Steel type, has Judgment (of course), Waterfall, Giga Impact, Recover. However, I really need to get a new Arceus with a good Nature. Oh, and as I use Steel Arceus, I use Waterfall to counter Fire and Ground types, two threats to Steel. And Waterfall is Physical, and my Arceus has a fair bit higher Attack than Special Attack.

So, I dunno who'd win, but your Empoleon would be tough to beat, Steel's weak on Water, Water normal on Steel.

I don't have any console Pokemon games...do you know if Battle Revolution is worth buying?

Grass is weak to Steel, which is one of the few logical matchups. I mean, Ice shouldn't really be weak to Water, Water should be weak to Ice, Fire should not be Super on Steel (only at ULTRA-high temperature for a long time does it melt steel), and WTF are Bugs powerful on Psychics?

You got any issues with the existing type matchups? Do you agree with my issues?

I only just got Articuno to Lv 78 for Sheer Cold, so I haven't had that much time, I'm only on 14 wins so far. Newt time I log on, I'll be able to say whether it's a good enough team. Oh, I changed Blissey's Grass Knot to Focus Blast (120 Power Fighting, Special). It's quite good, Blissey's Sp. Atk. is not that bad. Just think carefully about how my team members support each other. There are some flaws in the team, as I have already discovered.

Oh, and Pokemon is rigged! As soon as I use this 1-hit KO strategy, all the teams seem to have a Sturdy Pokemon! ZOMG!

About the Mystery Dungeon games (tell me about the new ones - I'd prefer not to buy old games) - I have no idea what the gameplay is like - what do you do? It's not turn-based battling like the normal games, is it? And what are the main Fun Factors?

The vandalism that occurred last night involved over-sized text that apparently threw some Gotcha Wrenches into our efforts to revert them. Whatever that html code is that allows font resizing should be disabled or at least have restrictions. Before I bombard you with detailed info about my Battle Tower attempt, I'll bore you with some stuff about Brawl...

I've finally cleared all 5 Levels of Target Smash with all characters... man, that was so boring and frustrating. I hate Target Smash. I'll smash YOUR targets, Nintendo!

I feel so n00bish - I can't even win Boss Battles (in Stadium) on Normal, only on Easy have I done it. I've only tried about 2 times, but still - I feel so pathetic, I'm supposed to be a hardcore gamer.

But I have cleared Classic on Intense, only once. I used many Continues, therefore wasting precious coins...

Section 2:

My Battle Tower McProgress:

So, my Articuno now has Mind Reader, Sheer Cold, U-Turn and Avalanche, nature is Jolly, held item is Focus Sash. EVs: 252 Speed, 126 Sp, Def, 126 Def, 6 Attack.

My Heatran has Modest nature, moves are Flamethrower, Flash Cannon, Ancient Power and Explosion/'Splosion, held item is Sitrus Berry (NOTE: I keep changing my mind about which item should be held). EVs: 252 Sp. Atk, 252 Speed, 6 Attack

My Blissey now has Toxic, Protect, Softboiled and Healing Wish, nature is ...forgot, something that boosts Defense and lowers Attack, EVs are 252 HP, 252 Defense, 6 Sp. Def.

Now, there are some important things you might not notice about my team. I've given Blissey Healing Wish to support Artcuno or sometimes Heatran, now that Articuno has Focus Sash, it generally has no trouble doing the 1-hit KO combo, because even if the foe uses a Rock move for 4x damage after I do Mind Reader, Articuno survives and on the next turn, because of its' maximum possible Speed, it goes first and does Sheer Cold. Then, since it has only 1 HP left, I switch to Heatran...unless the foe is one that would obviously counter Heatran with Earthquake or a Water move. In that case, I switch to Blissey instead. First turn, Blissey uses Protect to see what move the foe tries to use. If it's a deadly Physical attack, I don't keep Blissey in play, I get it to use Healing Wish (Blissey almost always survives one powerful hit) and switch to Articuno, fully restoring its HP and removing status effects if I was unlucky enough to have any. Then, I generally do the combo again. Even if it dies, Heatran is my last hope. Howeve
