Warnings[edit]

Don't give IP's warnings. Only give warnings to those who have an account, as per Warning Policy. ShyGuy8 (talk|contribs) Birdo Gif 00:28, 4 June 2015 (EDT)

OK, no offence, but that's a stupid rule. No other wikia has that rule - every single other one I've been on allows you to warn IPs. And besides, you can clearly see he's just there to vandalise. You're effectively giving him free-reign to do what he wants. Again, that's stupid, and counter-productive. Crash-Bash (talk) 02:03, 4 June 2015 (EDT)

"Anonymous users (also referred to as anons), follow a different warning procedure. If an IP is seen committing a level one offense, instead of issuing progressive warning templates, they should receive an informal reminder on their talk page explaining what policies/guidelines they are infringing. If their behavior continues, alert an admin so they may be blocked for a short period of time (usually two weeks or so). If an IP address is seen vandalizing (like blanking pages or adding profanity to articles), rather than issuing a warning template, please alert an admin so they can be blocked (never indefinitely; a few months at the most)." Binarystep (talk) 02:08, 4 June 2015 (EDT)

Well then, do something about him then. I don't know who the admins are and you can clearly see he ignored my informal reminder. Crash-Bash (talk) 04:33, 4 June 2015 (EDT)

Just so you know[edit]

Hello. Upholding our Warning Policy by issuing informal reminders to problematic anonymous users is always appreciated, but just to let you know, you should avoid using language that could potentially cause others to believe that you're part of the wiki's administrative team, as you did here. We realize this was unintentional, but we wanted to make you aware for future reference, as doing this can cause undue confusion for users and may be construed as a level three violation of the wiki's rules. If you have any questions about this, feel free to contact me or another staff member. Thanks.

My apologies. But I seriously do not know who here ARE the administrative team, so I've been struggling to find someone. Crash-Bash (talk) 09:25, 5 June 2015 (EDT)
If you look at recent changes (also on the left links, under "navigation"), you can see which janitors are recently active or not (denoted by sky blue, green, or purple usernames). Hope that helped you identify who's who. Icon showing how many lives Mario has left. From Super Mario 64 DS. It's me, Mario! (Talk / Stalk) 15:43, 5 June 2015 (EDT)

RE:IP Vandal[edit]

Sorry for not getting on these sooner / at all. I have been away due to laptop issues and will be for a short while. But thank you for bringing them to my attention. Yoshi876 (talk)

please stop deleting my changes[edit]

please stop reverting the mario vs donkey kong page. please look at how big the other series pages are. please note there is a expand-rewrite notice on this page. please leave me and this page alone. I am just improving it. Luigi Is Awesome! (talk)

You clearly don't have a clue how the wiki works, do you? Crash-Bash (talk) 08:38, 4 July 2015 (EDT)
OK, I appriciate that you retreated your previous statement. However, I don't entirely think you understand why I deleted the parts you wrote. The reason I deleted your edits was because all you've done is copied and pasted parts of the articles from the Mario vs. Donkey Kong pages themselves, with no changes whatsoever. You simply cannot do this. Especially considering it's pointless, as the pages for each game describe the controls perfectly.
If you really want to expand on the page, then take the "Gameplay" section I have added and by all means expand it, but do it in your own words and don't include anything that isn't necessary. Thank you. Crash-Bash (talk) 09:58, 4 July 2015 (EDT)

I created the mario vs Dk 2 tables completly by myself please don't delete themLuigi Is Awesome! (talk)

They do not belong on the Mario vs DK series page. They clearly belong on the Mario vs DK 2 page. Please add them to that page if you must. Crash-Bash (talk) 10:37, 4 July 2015 (EDT)

My Edit[edit]

Sorry, very sorry, i meant to undo his edit. PowerKamek's Signature(talk|contribs) 10:03, 4 July 2015 (EDT)

Ah, OK. I'd already done that. No worries. Crash-Bash (talk) 10:04, 4 July 2015 (EDT)

Troll-feeding[edit]

Stop attacking Fidel. If you have a problem with the user, contact an admin, and let them deal with it. We don't need to give attention to these types of users. BabyLuigiFire.png Ray Trace(T|C) 17:42, 31 July 2015 (EDT)

Yes we do, because then the admins won't realise it's Fidel. Crash-Bash (talk) 17:46, 31 July 2015 (EDT)
It wouldn't matter one way or another, in all cases. The admins are going to take care of that situation. You are not helping, you are feeding the troll, basically encouraging him to keep vandalizing.--

Well, you obviously haven't, because he's STILL coming because his IP keeps changing. If you actually blocked IPs from editing, none of this would be happening. Crash-Bash (talk) 17:51, 31 July 2015 (EDT)
I really hope you stop criticizing the admins, because there's nothing they can actually do besides block the IP that's currently editing, since it's incredibly easy to change your IP and then edit like nothing has happened. Regardless, feeding the trolls is only going to make them come back for more, and you have been unarguably doing that. Hello, I'm Time Turner.
I'm not criticizing the admins, I'm just sick of the fact this guy keeps coming back. Look, I'm sorry, OK? I get annoyed easily when it appears nothing is being done about a situation, and whilst I appriciate that you're trying, it does admittedly feel like nothing since he does just keep changing his IP. Crash-Bash (talk) 17:58, 31 July 2015 (EDT)
First, I don't think he's the most obnoxious user. There are far more obnoxious users that have been persistent, but quietly have gone away. Second, that's how trolls do. They're bored, they vandalize for the hell of it, they get blocked, they repeat. Eventually, they'll get bored and go away. Dealing with these type of people is just one of responsibilities that users are expected to have on wikis. You have to learn not to personally attack idiots like him. It's hard not to get irritated and moody by them, but hold your breath, count to 10, and contact an admin to deal with them. BabyLuigiFire.png Ray Trace(T|C) 18:09, 31 July 2015 (EDT)
Regretably, not all trolls are like that. But seriously, sorry. I'll try...but I can't promise I definitely won't do it again, I never can. It always goes wrong. Crash-Bash (talk) 18:11, 31 July 2015 (EDT)
I've been on this wiki for a long while. Trust me, several users actually did grind on my gears. Not going to mention his name, but there was a very persistent vandal who made a ---ton of socks and vandalized the wiki for like, two years or so. Said user is gone now, and no one misses him. I'll predict the same thing will happen to this user. BabyLuigiFire.png Ray Trace(T|C) 18:14, 31 July 2015 (EDT)

Sorry about that my main computer is acting up and i had to be on my wiiu for the time being and my head was also hurting to the point thatvi had no idea what was happening sorry
