- January 1 2008: Dummmmmmy impersonates Max and spams the Wiki.
- January 5 2008: Minimariolover10 is renamed to Crypt Raider.
- January 12 2008: A new runner for The 'Shroom needs to be elected (sign up people!).
- January 14 2008: Dummmmmmy has reformed spamming countless wikis.
- January 15 2008: Uniju has replaced his userpage with "Leaving, and sparing you the details" and stated that "you people make me sick." This means he is retiring.
- January 19 2008: Blitzwing has became the new The 'Shroom director.
- January 25 2008: Xzelion has retired from the wiki, and thus lost his bureaucrat right. In replacement, Cobold and RAP were promoted to Bureaucrat. The inactive sysop Salty was also demoted.
- February 9th 2008: Because he retired from the wiki, Plumber lost his patroller rights. The Bureaucrats are currently seeking for a new patroller.
- February 12th 2008: Dummmmmmy has been renamed to RapidRocker and Dry Bones have been renamed to The Missing Link.
- February 18th 2008: Super Luigi Sunshine has been renamed to Garlic Man.
- February 26th 2008: Lord Dice/Murzon vandalizes various pages, including Xzelion talkpage. Paper Jorge blcok him for three days. Murzon's last edits consist of him blanking his talkpage and claiming to Paper Jorge that he is a vandal on Userpedia.
- February 27th 2008: Uniju is demoted from his back-up operator position on the chatroom.
- February 29th 2008: King Boo has been renamed to Master Lucario.
- March 2nd 2008: Blitzwing and Stumpers have been promoted to patroller.
- March 22th 2008: Mariowiki:BJAODN is created. It's an archive where humorous vandalism and plain bad writing is archived.
- March 26th 2008: The Patroller rank is been phased out. Because of this, all the current patrollers (Blitzwing, Stumpers and Booster) are promoted to Sysop.
- April 12th: Time Q is promoted to Sysop, replacing the inactive Phoenix Raider.
- May 31th: RapidRocker is blocked indefinitely.
