The Pendulum Switch Star is the second mission of Tick Tock Clock, exclusive to Super Mario 64 DS. This mission replaces The Pit and the Pendulums from Super Mario 64. This mission can be done at any of the clock's speeds.

Layout[edit]

The player needs to climb the clockworks until they reach the pole with the Amp circling it. Above the pole is a platform with a Heave-Ho and a Star Switch. Pressing the Star Switch causes the Power Star to appear in the Star Sphere next to the pendulums up ahead. The player has to jump across a spinning platform and reach the Power Star in time before it disappears. If it does disappear, the player will have to go back and press the Star Switch again.
