Guess Who!

So Mario plays basketball now? (Americans should know why I posted this this time of year.)

Welcome to another issue of 'Guess Who!' with your host, Andymii! Here, we challenge your knowledge of Mario characters by giving clues and hints and then asking you what the character is. There are three levels; can you solve them all?

But first, I would like to congratulate the winners of last issue's Guess Who! contest. The winners are Fawfulthegreat64 (talk), Warioad (talk), and Mkbw50 (talk). They managed to get all five questions right in one go, so good job! They also received a special certificate on their talk page. Expect more challenges like this in the future.

This month's theme will be Super Mario Galaxy/Super Mario Galaxy 2. Since they are both one of my favorite titles, and all characters in this issue will exclusively from those games.

If you have an idea for a theme, just post it here. If it's good, I'll definitively consider using it in a future issue! Anyway, simply pick a level, and let's get started!

Level 1: Easy

  1. It is the first boss of the first Mario Galaxy game.
  2. It is defeated by spin-attacking his tail.
  3. It hatches from an egg.

Level 2: Normal

  1. This character is blue.
  2. He hosts mini-game levels.
  3. He says the first time you meet him: “They call me [character name]. Seems like you may be a worthy high-climbing rival. Take this Power Star! We'll talk later...”

Level 3: Hard

  1. Unlike other characters of its species, it tries to directly attack the player.
  2. Its eyes are red.
  3. In the Rolling Masterpiece Galaxy, one levels deals with bumping one off a platform with a Star Ball.

Word Search

by Palkia47 (talk)

Heya guys! Sooo, I am going to expand a bit on Andymii’s basketball reference and proudly exclaim HAPPY MARCH MADNESS! :D :D :D March Madness is basically when the NCAA basketball tournament starts, and it just started on Thursday afternoon. So, I decided that it would be the perfect time to make a word search based off of one of my favorite DS Mario games… Mario Hoops 3-on-3! This word search references the playable characters in the game, including the five playable characters from the Final Fantasy series! I hope you all enjoy, and happy March!
