Shouldn't Baby E. Gadd and Toadsworth the Young (both from Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time) be in the template?

Also, would it be possible to make a little section called, "Unconfirmed Babies" and put Baby Waluigi in there?

Yes, no, and no.HK-47 w4z h3R3 at 18:34, 14 August 2006 (EDT)

I say no to everything. Wait until Baby Waluigi is seen in Yoshi's Island DS, but, E. Gadd and Toadsworth are not babies in Partners in Time. Wayoshi ( T·C·@ ) 18:42, 14 August 2006 (EDT)

[edit] Baby Yoshi

I think that Baby Yoshi should be on the template. It would be nice if you made a seperate article about them. They are babies afterall.

  • Don't put them on the template unless there is an article about them. I removed "Baby Yoshi" because it went to the article on "Yoshi" who is not a baby. In fact, Yoshi was an adult when Mario was a baby. Almighty Rajah 08:43, 20 August 2006 (EDT)
  • What about the baby Yoshis in Super Mario World, found in the Star Road, that require five enemies to be eaten to turn into a special type of Yoshi? Wayoshi ( T·C·@ ) 11:51, 20 August 2006 (EDT)
Those were Yoshi's friends trapped in eggs, remember? And they aren't separate characters like Baby Mario or Baby Luigi who have distinct personalities and important roles in different games, unlike the Yoshies who behave more like items than characters.Almighty Rajah 12:45, 20 August 2006 (EDT)

I don't think Baby Yoshi needs his own section. Can't Yoshi Kid be considered a Baby Yoshi? Paper Jorge 13:02, 20 August 2006 (EDT)

Tyranno128 Well the Yoshi's in Yoshi's Story were babies. Its hard to tell but look at their size and cuteness there odviously babies. I also think that Chauncey is.....Well technically he is a baby but where talking about babie versions of Mario characters. That also means taking off Yoshi Kid to. He wasnt really that much of a baby. I also think that Baby Bowser should be a main Baby.

  • I do not think that the Yoshies in Yoshi's Story are babies. All Yoshies are cute, and their size is the same as all other Yoshies. And since tht game takes place around the time of SMW2, in which the Yoshies are adults, I don't think that they are babies.

But I do agree that Chauncey and Yoshi Kid should taken off, granted-they are younger, but they're not "baby versions." Almighty Rajah 10:10, 21 August 2006 (EDT)

Tyranno128

Look at the sizes of them comepared to Poochy and a Yoshi egg! Also look up the story for this game! Bbay Bowser has came to get revenge so he trapped all the Yoshis and Yoshi Island in a story book, BUT 6 or 7 eggs hatch and the newborn Yoshis try to save the island. Also look at Little Yoshi, he's a baby Yoshi. So there are Baby Yoshis, the ones in Yoshis story are babies and I want to create in article about that, there just one thing standing in my way and thats that it will always take me to regular Yoshi, so will someone tell me how to create my own.

I know how...But I don't know if I should tell you. Paper Jorge 12:46, 21 August 2006 (EDT)

Chauncey is a ghost, and he should not be in there. Yoshi Kid was delivered by the Hot Dog pig in PM2, meaning he isn't exactly a baby (questionable). According to the Yoshi's Story storyline, they would be babies, yet are Yoshies ever babies? Yoshi Kid could hear from inside the egg right away, and the baby Yoshis were saving their island from the start. All I'm saying is that maybe there are no Baby Yoshis. Wayoshi ( T·C·@ ) 13:39, 21 August 2006 (EDT)

Tyranno128 Yes but they should get their own page anyways. While there are techncally no baby Yoshi the ones in Yoshi's Story are considered babies as they just hatched and are small. Also, you shouldnt compare babies with Yoshi Kid, as he is in a Paper Mario game and they dont take place in actual continuity. I can go on for hours on how it doesnt but I wont so just listen to me. Also Yoshi Kid is a different Yoshi, how Yoshis do you see with a hairdo or even speak english! Well some do but Yoshi Kid is still a different kind of Yoshi. He might even be the legendary Rainbow Yoshi. And dont even ask why he might be because I dont want to go off topic.

  • I don't know where you got the Rainbow Yoshi stuff, but I'm pretty sure that they gave Yoshi Kid a hairdo to differentiate him from other Yoshies and give him a little more personality. And just because something is small, doesn't mean it's a baby. They could be small because they were trapped in those eggs for so long, after all it must be cramped in there. In SMW, whenever you get a Yoshi, it's small at first but then grows really quickly. Since the Yoshi babies aren't separate characters from plain Yoshies, I don't think they merit their own article.Almighty Rajah 19:53, 21 August 2006 (EDT)

Tyranno128 Do any of you's have Yoshi's Story? If not then look it up on websites or read the manual or something. It'll say that Bowser trapped everyone in a story book, however the next genewration of Yoshis, still being eggs, do not get cursed and eventually they hatch and save Yoshi's Island. Here are articles if you want to know that the Yoshis in Yoshi's Story are indeed babies.

  • I can tell that you are very passionate about this, but I still disagree with you. I don't think these Yoshies merit their own article, and even if they do get one, I don't think that should be in the Babies Template. They have obviously grown very quickly because they are not infants in the duration of that game.Almighty Rajah 20:48, 21 August 2006 (EDT)

Tyranno128 What the hell are you talking about? They just hatched! Who's idea was it to put on Baby Yoshi in the template in the first place?

It was your idea, Tyranno. What Almighty Rajah is trying to say, and I agree, is that Baby Yoshies are very similar in apperance and ability to Yoshies. I am ruling that Baby Yoshes should be put in a section of the article Yoshi, and no more. Baby Yoshi is not to be put in the template, because the other babies have a different characteristic from their adult counterparts in some fashion, or a different storyline (Baby Mario in MKDD!! has a different special item from Mario). Wayoshi ( T·C·@ ) 23:10, 21 August 2006 (EDT)

Tyranno128 Ack! I give up! It was a big arguement but I geuss your right. However it wasnt my idea, it was Paper Jorges, he mistaked Yoshi Kid for Baby Yoshi. Thus ends a huge arguement over absolutly nothing.

Paper Jorge only added the header ==Baby Yoshi==. I didn't mean to use my administrative powers to overrule everyone, but nothing was being solved. Let's put this behind us and actually contribute to an article. Wayoshi ( T·C·@ ) 10:40, 22 August 2006 (EDT)

I would just like to say that Kamek refers to the Yoshis as babies in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. This means that while not newborns, the Yoshis from SMW2 are very young. This also means that the Yoshis from SMW2 are probably the same Yoshis from Yoshi's Island. -- Son of Suns

Tyranno128 Did that even make sence?

What do you mean? -- Son of Suns
This also means that the Yoshis from SMW2 are probably the same Yoshis from Yoshi's Island. Did you mean they're the same Yoshis from Yoshi's Story? Wayoshi ( T·C·@ ) 20:21, 24 August 2006 (EDT)

Tyranno128 SMW2 and Yoshi's Island are the same game! And the baby Yoshis from Yoshi's Story are newborns.

Yes. I meant Yoshi's Story, not Island. Thanks Wayoshi. And Tyranno, I don't appreciate that language. I made a mistake that needed clarification, not an insult. -- Son of Suns

[edit] Chauncey?

He seems a little...out of place on this template. Is it really necessary to include him? Monty Mole 17:31, 22 August 2006 (EDT) No, it's not. He's a painting of a dead person, not a baby. I ahd removed him previously but I suppose some overzealous person decided to add him again. - Almighty Rajah 17:33, 22 August 2006 (EDT)

I agree that he seems out of place, but Luigi's Mansion said that he wasn't ever dead. Yeah, I play it too often. Para Yoshi Wahoo! 09:27, 27 August 2006 (EDT)
