- Actually, 2 1/2 D is a 3-D game with 2-D style graphics. You play in 3-D in Paper Mario, but the characters are flat and 2-D. -- Son of Suns

- Well, no, because Mario can make the world 3-D. If this wasn't possible, the entire game would be 2-D (unless Mario could go into the background, like in Paper Mario 2; in that case, the game would still be 2.5-D). -- Son of Suns
