Sonic R?

It says on the Trivia that Mario Kart R's name was changed because Sega threatened to sue. But Sonic R came out in 1998. Should it be taken down? --Thedude3445 17:41, 28 May 2008 (EDT)

As far as I can tell you, the name that the game was originally trended was mean to be Super Mario Kart R. I actually did some research and according to Wikipedia, both Sonic R and Mario Kart 64 were released in 1997. User:McAusten! · talk to me · my edits 18:22, 13 December 2011 (EST)

Mini Bomb Kart

I don't think the Mini Bomb Kart is really "character", but it should be linked to somewhere. Perhaps the articles should just be merged?

Beta elements - White Mini Bomb Kart

As far as I can see on the picture of Frappe Snowland, I can easily tell that that is just a snowman without a head. There wasn't official confirmation about it being a Mini Bomb Kart anyways. Should we delete the information? ~ Qyzxf (talk)

I noticed that all three courses that returned in Mario Kart 7 were all from the Mushroom Cup. I know it's kind of a lame piece of trivia, but I thought it was cool.

Character stats

This talk page or section has a conflict or a question that needs to be answered. Please try to help and resolve the issue by leaving a comment.

I notice the only attribute listed for each character is the weight class. No effect on, or separately determined values for acceleration, handling, top speed, etc are listed, aside from vague (and rather long-winded) notes taken in the prose. This is at odds with pretty much every other listed kart game, so I feel that for this article to be truly complete, they should be listed with the characters. From a glance, I read that the information from the reference, TASVideos is pretty technical and reliant on graphs.[1] Even if we listed just the numbers, without the context for them, it wouldn't make much sense. I think prose was the best way to summarize the information and I found the prose itself pretty followable. It's me, Mario! (Talk / Stalk) 01:08, June 10, 2023 (EDT)

The official site descriptions imply there are statistical differences between characters of the same class, though, in which case the prose isn't descriptive enough.
