New or not[edit]

It says on the New Super Mario Bros Wii website that the ice flower is new. It first came out in Super Mario Galaxy. Is it because it is new to a sidescrolling game?Fuzzy in New Super Mario Bros. Re: Additional Images Requested[edit]

For anyone wondering, I think the page could use at least one screenshot of the item being used in Partners in Time. Lord Grammaticus 13:20, 21 December 2011 (EST)

New Super Mario Bros.[edit]

Should we put in the trivia that the Ice Flower was not used in New Super Mario Bros. even though it could've?M&L Beware my fury! 13:16, 30 January 2012 (EST)

We can't do that, unless the Ice Flower was planned to make appearance in New Super Mario Bros.--Prince Ludwig 13:22, 30 January 2012 (EST)

Oh. But it could have been used identically to the New Super Mario Bros. Wii one except you couldn't spin the remote to make an iceball come from either side of you. You could have frozen enemies and instead of holding 1 and shaking the Wiimote to pick them up just ran and picked them up automatically, right? Wouldn't that be noteable enough to go into the Trivia section?M&L Beware my fury! 14:44, 30 January 2012 (EST)
