It's not possible. Whenever he's attacked after he changes his size, then he spits Fawful out.

That's right, you cannot kill Dark Bowser. You have to defeat the core, the Dark Fawful Bug if you want to destroy Dark Bowser. --ChaosXIII 07:22, 30 November 2009 (EST)

I have tried it myself if you take away his 1000 hp while he is being powered up (which was DAMN hard because of his strong defense, but i am lv 50 with Bowser so i did it) he will shrink, collapse and turn giant again so it is pretty much a circle, which make him impossible to defeat. PS: I attacked dark bowser himself, not the belly. User:MarioMaster720 22.12.2009
