- Well, I'm not opposed to having articles about more "abstract" subject such as this. For example. the Transformers wiki has quite nice articles on random things such as Toys. But oh boy, that article sure needs expansion. --Blitzwing 11:47, 23 April 2008 (EDT)
Is Super Mario RPG a "3D game?" -- Son of Suns

- The difference between 3-D game and the two articles you have mentioned is that sidescrollers and RPGs are genres of video games. You could have a 3-D sidescroller (New Super Mario Bros.) or a 3-D RPG (Paper Mario: TTYD kinda...or any Final Fantasy post-VI). 2-D vs. 3-D seems to be an aspect of all games, and perhaps could be merged into a article discussing video games generally. -- Son of Suns
- Wait, we don't have an article on video games (we just have a list of games). Perhaps we should create one to discuss general characteristics of games, especially as it intersects with the Mario series. -- Son of Suns
- What if we expanded the Games article to be more than a list, but rather to where it explained the different aspects of 2D and 3D games?

I would actually recommend creating an indepedent article about video games, while turning the games page into a "List of Games" page. -- Son of Suns
