Toad in the Box Appears in Mario Party 2 Type 4-player mini-game Music Spinning Polka Toad in the Box (stylized as TOAD in the Box) is a 4-player minigame appear in Mario Party 2. Its name is a pun on the toy, Jack-in-the-Box. Introduction The players fall from above on to a stage, followed by the blocks. The music will then start. Gameplay Players have to hit the spinning blocks by getting a Toad face each time. Each time the players gets a Toad face; the spinning block gets a little faster. The floor below them also rises one level. If one of the players hit the spinning block and get something other than a Toad face, the player gets stunned for a moment. The first player who gets five Toad faces wins. The blocks also show figures of a Piranha Plant (bashes the player once), a Chomp (bashes the player twice) and Bowser (Baby Bowser comes down and smashes the player). Controls – Jump In-game text Game Rules – "Jump up to hit the spinning blocks. The first one to get 5 Toad faces wins!" Advice – "If you stop the block on a face other than Toad's, you won't be able to move. Time your jumps carefully."
