Superstar is a term used in the Mushroom and Beanbean Kingdoms to discribe famous heroes who actively work against villains such as Bowser or Cackletta. Superstars are placed in very high regard and receive royal treatment from all those who meet them and recognize them as such. Mario and Luigi are widely considered the superstars of the Mushroom Kingdom, while Prince Peasley is the superstar of the Beanbean Kingdom. Unlike the term Super Star, it is not unusual that there would be more than superstar at one given time.
