Shortfuses are barrel-like cannon enemies from Wario Land: Shake It!. When their fuse burns, they shoot spiky balls at Wario. They are rather common in Ratl Ruins. There is also a golden Shortfuse.

There are two varieties od Shortfuses: brown ones and red ones. The brown ones just stand in place and shoot spikeballs. However, the red variety can jump and shoot Wario while jumping.
