Porky Minch, otherwise known as The Pig King and as Pokey Minch in earlier appearances, is a character from the Mother series, known as Earthbound in America. He was a major character in EarthBound, appearing as Ness's rival, and is the main antagonist in Mother 3. Porky appears as a boss in Super Smash Bros. Brawl in his Spider Mech. In the Subspace Emissary he fights Ness and Lucas and later appears in The Great Maze. His theme was first revealed in the Smash Bros. Dojo. Porky (as a kid) along with his statue make an appearance in the background of the New Pork City stage; his theme is also playable in New Pork City.

When Lucas was walking alone in The Ruined Zoo, a giant statue of Porky Minch appears and begins chasing him through the zoo, attempting to crush Lucas. At the end of the scene, Lucas got his leg stuck under a root and was about to be killed by the Statue, when Ness appeared to Lucas's rescue, destroying the statue by using PK Flash. It revealed a spider-like machine that had Porky inside it, and the boys battled him. Ness and Lucas defeated Porky and destroyed the machine.
