Nintendo Classics
From the Super Mario Wiki
Nintendo Classics is the genre of 9-Volt's microgames in WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$! and in WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Party Game$!. All of 9-Volt's microgames in this set are based on various Nintendo products from the 1960s up to the 1990s.
In the former game, the stage's folder will appear on the screen of Wario's Laptop after Jimmy T's Sports stage has been beaten. After selecting the folder, 9-Volt's story will be played, showing his everyday life. When he has got to his home and plays around with his mixing console in his room, some kind of grabber comes out of 9-Volt's oversized speaking Game Boy and takes a game cartridge and pops it into the console. Then the Nintendo logo appears on the Game Boy's screen and the game starts.
The player has to pass 14 microgames and to the cope the Boss Stage to beat 9-Volt's stage and to see the rest of his story. The cutscene shown between every microgame imitates the video game Dragon Quest (Dragon Warrior), a game that hasn't been made by Nintendo.
In the single player mode of WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Party Game$!, 9-Volt's games follow after Mona's Strange games. Like in the stages of all other developers in this game, the cutscene between the games is simply the developer's head shown on elevator doors, in this case 9-Volt's one.
The set consists of the following 25 microgames:
