From the Super Mario Wiki
Since upgrading to our dedicated server, hosting costs have become a hassle. We need help, and the ads don't necessarily cut it. Just as the content of the Mario Wiki is managed and maintained by its users, we ask for help in the hosting cost too. Every dollar truly helps, because if even a small fraction of viewers donated a couple of dollars, that money would add up rather quickly.
We guarantee to you that every penny you donate to us will go directly towards web hosting or domain fees. As the Mario Wiki grows more money must be spent to insure that the site stays up and runs in top condition. Our dedicated server currently costs us $250 a month, much more than our budget allows.
If you have a PayPal account, simply click the image below and specify the amount you'd wish to donate. Enter your login information, click Continue, then complete the transaction. If you do not have a PayPal account, getting one is quick and easy. Simply follow their steps for registering. Donating via PayPal will deduct a surcharge of 2.9% plus US$0.30 from the total amount transferred. Please take this into account when you send your donations.

We also offer recurring donations to help out with the monthly cost of our server. Whether you want to use these automated monthly donations or not, the best way to support the site is with a donation each month. There's currently the option of donating from $5 to $30 a month through PayPal. We think that these are reasonable amounts and we ask that you seriously consider subscribing. It would only take a small percentage of our userbase to sign up to make a big difference.
