Lava Bubba is a variety of Bubba found in Super Mario Sunshine. Their body is brown and they're capable of swimming in lava rather than in the water like other kinds of Bubba. They're seen in Corona Mountain and work as obstacles. A Lava Bubba can be defeated by simply squirting water on its body with F.L.U.D.D. or by jumping on its head.

  • Lava Bubbas can be used to perform a glitch which allows the player swim under the lava.
