The Grapple Beam is Samus' grab move in Super Smash Bros. Melee and Super Smash Bros. Brawl. This move can be used as a Tether Recovery like the Clawshot of Link. The attack, if the opponent is in mid-air, can be used to damage the player, and not actually grab them, as well.
