Geckoes are green lizard creatures found in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. Mario and co. encountered Geckoes at Star Hill. Geckoes are more of an annoyance than a real threat, capable of causing status ailments with their Sleep Sauce and Venom Drool attacks, they also usually appear in groups. In battle, they are quite weak and cannot use any offensive special attacks. Compared to their Geckit relatives (which appear later in the game), they are stronger in the fact that Geckoes have more spells and aren't permanently confused, but they do have slightly lower stats. They are also a bit cowardly, sometimes running from battle with their Fun & Run special attack. Geckoes appear in battle with Sackits and Mukumukus.
