Nintendo Super Mario Brothers Light & Sound Candy Containers are small, GameCube-shaped containers filled with gummy candies. It has the ability to light up and create various sounds, such as the sounds of coins being collected and Mario shouting his name.[1] The gummy candies within the container come in six different shapes, all of which are in the shapes of Mario characters. The gummies also come in five different flavors: cherry, sour apple, orange, strawberry, and blue raspberry. The tiny GameCubes are near-exact replicas of the actual console, the only difference being that the controller sockets are gray. The containers are available in three colors: platinum, indigo, and black, (just as the console was). By opening the bottom of the GameCube Container, one can gain access to the gummy candies. On average, the candy containers cost a total of four dollars.[2]
