Feed Petey is a party game in Mario Sports Mix where the sport of this game is basketball. Like all the other party games, this can be played with up to four players. The object of the game is to score points by feeding Petey Piranha fruit. Players can achieve this simply by playing as if Petey Piranha is the basketball hoop: shooting fruit into his mouth. Watermelons give the player fifty points, red apples are worth thirty, and oranges are worth ten. Whoever scores the most points when time runs out wins the party game. The player should note that the basketball is replaced with a fruit. The maximum time limit for this party game is two and a half minutes.

The Feed Petey party game takes place at either Daisy Garden, DK Dock, or Wario Factory. The player can also unlock harder variations of this party game by clearing certain alternate route missions, or by winning a certain number of matches for each court. These versions have the same fruits mentioned above, but green apples, worth twenty points each, are added to the mix.

In Tournament mode, this party game is played in a team battle style; players are grouped into two teams, and each team has to cooperate to defeat the other.
