Bub (species)

Bubs are small, slow-moving red fish, found in the course Dire, Dire Docks in Super Mario 64.

Bubs will follow Mario slowly but they do not attack. They're related to Bubba, and are essentially more updated versions of Cheep-Cheeps. Even though Bubs can't attack they try and head butt Mario but it never hurts Mario, or his allies. (Yoshi, Luigi, Wario)
