Winged Clouds are clouds with an question mark on them and have wings. Whenever a Yoshi hits it with a Yoshi Egg, either items will appear or an effect will occur. They only appear in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, its Game Boy Advance remake and Yoshi's Island DS. They are found in almost every level.
Winged Clouds carry such objects as Flowers, Stars, and 1-Ups, and can also be used to trigger hidden switches that create platforms.
